What we need from you

On the ground

Two seasons guiding in at least one region you are applying for.
Working fluency in the language your guests will be travelling in.
A driving licence valid in every country on the route.
A current first-aid or wilderness qualification.

Paperwork

National or regional guiding licence, where the region requires one.
Driving licence class, plus consent for a record check.
First-aid or wilderness medicine certificate with its expiry date.
Two references we can call — one operator, one guest.

How guiding runs

You are paid a day rate per departure, plus travel to the trailhead.
Guests are briefed by you on day one; the desk handles every booking.
You confirm each departure in writing at least fourteen days out.
Payouts clear each Friday for departures completed the prior week.
